CSUSB Anthropology Museum seeks graphic design assistance!

Graphic Design Assistance

The CSUSB Anthropology Museum is in the final stages of preparing a unique and innovative exhibition that highlights Inland Empire community members' memories of childhood -- fifty participants have provided an object of sentimental value along with their memories of that object and their reflections on becoming who they are today as influenced by childhood experiences.

The mementos and stories will be exhibited in home-style cabinetry (china cabinets, hutches, dressers, etc.) that have been outfitted to serve as museum cases. To further the home-like atmosphere, we'd like to wrap the walls and windows of the gallery space in a mural with images that evoke the feel of being in a living room, hallway, kitchen, etc. These might be large photographs or creative impressions of such spaces. The images will be printed on a removable wall / window cling.

We are looking for a volunteer to work with our exhibition team to design this wall treatment. The position would require you meeting with the team ~ three times -- first to ensure a common vision (we are very open to your creative input to achieve the desired atmosphere), then to present your preliminary and final designs. These meetings would take place between early April and mid-May. The final product will be professionally installed.

If you are interested, please send your resume with email and phone contact information, along with a letter of interest, to Arianna Huhn, Museum Director, at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
