Other Desert Cities

by: Jon Robin Baitz

A Hollywood star’s desert estate glows with Christmas cheer. But home for the holidays is daughter Brooke, a novelist whose tell-all memoir is sure to rip the politically-divided clan apart. Are we having fun yet? With dazzling wit and razor-sharp insight, this Pulitzer finalist balances fierce comedy and riveting family drama in this blockbuster hit.

Runs: July 15, 24, Aug 1,9,14,20

The Redlands Theatre Festival is a summer repertory company residing in Prospect Park since the 1970’s and is the oldest outdoor theatre series in the Inland Empire.

Cliff Cabanilla, retired Crafton Hills College theatre arts professor, is the founding director of RTF and oversees the event each summer. Each year, Cabanilla recruits some of the finest theatre talent in the area to participate in RTF performances. Actors for the productions include professionals and students. Six plays are produced simultaneously using a small core of actors and technicians to fulfill all necessary roles. Each of the plays, which are staged repeatedly throughout the two-month run of the Festival, offer a unique variety only found in repertory theatre.

Come up and enjoy a show under the stars in beautiful Prospect Park.
