MainStreet Theatre Company Presents Mark Twain's "The Prince and the Pauper" at Lewis Family Playhouse! MainStreet Theatre Company

MAINSTREET THEATRE COMPANY PRESENTS

Mark Twain's The Prince and the Pauper

Adapted for the stage by Jonathan Bolt

Directed by Abigail Deser

Featuring Jeremy Lelliott and Doug Harvey

Based on Mark Twain's classic tale about two boys in 16th century England who trade clothes one afternoon, and accidentally trade lives as well! As the boys learn to function in each other's worlds, they both learn important lessons about inequality and justice. In the end, matters are set right again, with one of the boys resuming his rightful, royal place, and the other accepting a position that recognizes his natural intelligence and good heart.
