RANCHO CUCAMONGA COMMUNITY THEATRE PRESENTS
William Shakespeare's "The Taming of the Shrew"
Baptista Minola has two beautiful daughters. The youngest is Bianca who is being pursued by several suitors for her hand in marriage. However, Batista refuses to give blessing to any marriage for Bianca until someone marries her older sister, Katherine. Unfortunately, Katherine is famous for being angry, mean, and bad-tempered (a shrew). Unexpectedly a stranger arrives who seems to be perfect for Katherine - Petruchio. What follows is the classic comedy of "the war between the sexes" as Katherine and Petruchio attempt to impose their wills on each other and accidentally uncover the secret of a long and happy union.
