Artists for Art's Sake is an annual fundraising exhibition to benefit the art education programs at the Millard Sheets Art Center, Fairplex. Located in Pomona, CA the Millard Sheets Art Center provides year-round art exhibitions and art education for students of all ages. Established in 1936 as the Fine Arts Program of the Los Angeles County Fair, the Millard Sheets Art Center was "the first major gallery dedicated to art" in Los Angeles County. Our current programs continue the long tradition of acceptance and appreciation of all art forms and artists.

Artist participants in this inaugural exhibition have the opportunity to exhibit and sell their artwork to an appreciative audience in support of the education of our visual art students. Entry fees and artwork sales will generate funding for such programs as Discovery Arts for middle school students in the Pomona Unified School District and Free Family Workshops for children and their families.
