The award-winning CSUSB Arts and Music Festival is one of the premier festivals for arts, culture and entertainment in the Inland Empire. The festival draws over 3,000 in attendance and showcases dozens of artists, performers and musicians. It's a celebration of the region's artistic culture. Pariticpate as an artist, musician, vendor, non-profit or volunteer!
The fourth annual Joshua Tree National Park Art Exposition will be held September 17 & 18, 2016, in Twentynine Palms, CA, at a variety of venues in the Oasis of Mara next to Joshua Tree National Park Headquarters.
Congressional Art Competition for high school students living in the Inland Empire. The theme for this year’s competition is “commUNITY.” The winner of the competition will have their artwork on display in the United States Capitol for one year.

MMM show – March 6 take-in

Get your creative thinking cap on! Get to the studio and make us some art! Art that makes us say, “Wow!” or “Hmmm!”
The 47th Multi Media Mini Show is open to all California artists and/or RAA Friends. Artists can submit up to three 3D or 2D pieces. Multi-media means… anything... photography, jewelry, paintings, ceramics, glass, wood, fiber, etc! But Mini means strict size limitation: must fit within a 14.5” cube, including frame and/or base. Fee is $45/1-2 pieces, $60 for 3 pieces, for Friends of RAA fee is $30/1-2 pieces, $45 for 3 pieces. Our judge, Daniel Foster, will select which pieces will be put in the show, as well as choose the awards. The prospectus/ entry form is available at the Redlands Art Association, 215 E. State St., downtown, Redlands and on their website: www.redlands-art.org. (Use the Friends tab, then Forms, and select 2016 MMM Show.) Type in your information on the form and then print it out. Art can be for sale or not for sale. The Gallery gets 20% of sales.
All entries must be hand delivered to the RAA Gallery on Sunday, March 6, between 10am - 4pm. Out of town artists can mail their art in before March 3. Winners of the competition will participate in over $ 3000 in cash and product awards. Purchase Award Patrons will select their art pieces at a private showing before the exhibit opens for the public.
Grand Opening Gala will be Friday, March 11 from 5pm to 7pm. The Artist’s Award Ceremony will be on Sunday, March 13.

Call for Entries for National Orange Show's 67th Annual All-California Juried Art Exhibit
SAN BERNARDINO, CA – The National Orange Show announces a Call for Entries for its 67th Annual All-California Juried Art Exhibit. All artwork including painting, drawing, pastel, mixed media, collage, photography, and sculpture are welcome. The deadline to submit is March 7th.
There will be an open category and a citrus themed category. Each category will have awards for First ($700), Second ($500), and Third place ($300) as well as six total Honorable Mentions ($100 each).
Letters of acceptance will be sent out to artists on March 25th. Art drop-off will take place on April 8th and 9th from 9am to 4:30pm. The Artist's Reception will be held on April 19th from 6pm to 9pm. The Art Exhibit will be on display during the National Orange Show Fair in San Bernardino, CA from Wednesday, April 20th through Sunday, April 24th from 12:00pm to 9:00pm.
For 67 years the National Orange Show Art Exhibit has displayed art from talented local and regional artists spanning several counties throughout Southern California. The All-California Juried Art Exhibit at the National Orange Show was initiated in 1948 by the San Bernardino Art Association with great success. The National Orange Show Board of Directors continued it in 1949 as part of its regular agenda.

We are soliciting applications for submissions of art for these one-day long exhibitions developed in collaboration with branches of the Riverside Public Library on March 5 (Arlanza), April 16 (La Sierra) and May 21 (Casa Blanca). These exhibitions will be held outdoors. The exhibition space will be formed by a set of modular, lightweight, temporary structure with a maximum height of 6’5’”. Artworks should be lightweight, easily hung, mounted or pinned to a “clothesline” structure like the one pictured in the sketches in this article by ND architecture. Work should be appropriate for outdoor viewing by people of all ages.
The title of the show is Hispanic Heritage Art Exhibit 2015, A Non-Traditional Experience. All forms ofartistic expression will be considered for the show regardless of subject matter or ethnic background. All artists are encouraged to apply. Please submit completed application accompanied by photos of proposed artwork no later than August 16, 2015.
advoCATs is a gallery event where contributing artists will donate pieces of their own original artwork and assist in raising funds for our cause via silent auction. The funds raised will help SOXrescue in obtaining much needed Vaccinations, Medical treatment, Food & Litter, and Neuter/Spaying for the current and future rescues within the organization. The show will take place at SPACE Gallery in Pomona, CA (Official date is TBA).

CALL FOR ART: Joshua Tree National Park Art Exposition 2015
The third annual Joshua Tree National Park Art Exposition will be held in November 2015 at the Oasis of Mara in Twentynine Palms, California. The Juried Art Exhibition, a highlight of the annual exposition, will hang at the historic 29 Palms Art Gallery, Nov. 6 to 29, with a gala opening reception and awards ceremony on Friday, Nov. 13, followed by weekend exposition events Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 14 & 15.
